Being a mom is challenging, especially when kids are really young. Every parent knows the struggle of melt-downs and how exhausting they can be. Rebecca Paterson knows this struggle. Recently while she was shopping at Target with her two boys, ages two and two months, she experienced a difficult mommy moment; both boys were crying and having a complete meltdown. This unfortunate event occurred quickly and the mother was about ready to leave the store, until an angel came to her rescue.

Tiffany Jones-Guillory, another momma, saw Paterson struggling and sought out to help her. She offered to walk and hold Paterson’s screaming two year old while she shopped. Paterson said,

thankfully, another mom stepped in to save the day.

Eventually the two year old boy calmed down after Jones-Guillory distracted him with pictures of her kids. The mother then wrote on a Facebook post, “She walked with me while I got the essentials needed for the day and kept hold of my toddler while he calmed down.”
Jones-Guillory stayed with the other momma for almost 45 minute. She said that the family was so grateful for her efforts. Strangers sometimes aren’t so bad after all.

Paterson believes this act of kindness should be inspiring to others to do good. If you also think strangers should do more acts of kindness share with friends!
