Aerosmith, U2 and The Rolling Stones have nothing on the new senior guitarist in town! Those popular bands might be rocking out in their 70s, but Bob Wood an 81 year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee is still rocking on.
The senior citizen left employees at the local guitar shop with their jaws on the floor. In addition the video is going viral since the guitar shop, British Audio Service uploaded it to the internet. I am blown away when he starts playing a very impressive version of “B Same Mucho” in their shop.
Wood’s family was more than happy to provide over 2million viewers with everything they wanted to know about the frail musician.
They had this to say: Mr. Wood grew up in the Shenandoah Valley playing music was his favorite past time. In 1970 he was signed on as performer at Jamboree USA in West Virginia where he performed for 10 years. He was named Entertainer of the Year by ESCM. Most recently he was inducted into the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame. This piece was a cut from one of his many albums.
