An elderly man in Canada will stop at nothing to help his struggling wife.
The man who has wished to remain anonymous took a trip to the Delmar college of Hair and Esthetics in Alberta, Canada near his home. He told Carrie Hannah, the school’s director, that he was hoping to get some lessons so he can help his wife.
“He started to explain that his wife was struggling with her vision right now, and was struggling to curl her own hair and was burning herself,” Hannah said. “He really wanted to help her.”
“He genuinely cared,” she added. “He knows his wife always cared about her appearance, and he wanted to help her.”
A post on Facebook from hair Design by Britney featured photos of the man learning “how to do volume curls on short hair” and “how to protect her skin from being burned.” The man also taught some quick lessons on how to apply mascara.
The pictures of the man have gone viral prompting over 25,000 comments and many expressed how this gesture of love moved them.
“This makes my heart so full,” wrote one commenter. “Thank you for helping him! What a lucky woman she is to have such an attentive husband.”
“He is a very stand-up guy and loves his wife enough to help her with her beauty, going the extra mile! Thank you sir for being such a great man and husband,” added another.
Hannah said that her time with the elderly man is one of the highlights of her 31 year career.
“He just genuinely warmed everyone’s hearts…We really needed some cheering up, and he sure did it.”
